About Us

President

2022-2023 President of the Kentucky Association of County Agricultural Agents, Adam Barnes serves as the Agriculture & Natural Resource County Extension Agent in Livingston County. He has served his home county for a total of 10 years.


Adam grew up on a family farm in which he returned to after college to run the family beef cattle, row crop, and dairy operations. He earned both his B.S. and M.S in Agriculture from Murray State University. His farming operation now consists of cow calf, and row crop operations. Adams hobbies also include beekeeping and repairing/building antique guns.

2021-2022 President of the Kentucky Association of County Agricultural Agents, Kevin Lyons serves as the Agriculture & Natural Resource County Extension Agent in Monroe County. He has served his home county for a total of 16 years.


Kevin grew up on a family dairy farm. He earned both his B.S. and M.S in Agriculture from Western Kentucky University. His farming operation consists of beef cattle, strawberries, and honeybees.


Kevin has previously served as KACAA Farm Organizations Director, and currently serves as the Monroe Co. Farm Bureau president-elect.
